A Note from our Creative Director

The studio

In 2017, I reconnected with the wrestling community to share a lifelong passion for the sport’s visual identity. While I enjoyed posting digital art on Twitter in those early years, I felt my creative energy would better serve the wrestling community if I focused on a mission. Thus, in 2021 I launched the Foundation for Wrestling Art.

From day one of the Foundation, I had a relentless desire to push the creative process past the screen—to translate colored pixels into tactile, physical objects. Out of that obsession, the Studio was born.

We have painted, carved, screen-printed, and sewn. We have spent countless hours trimming, scoring, and folding stationery by hand. For us, the quiet intimacy of the process, from raw material selection to final fabrication, is just as vital as the piece itself. Our goal in the Studio is to create objects that carry weight, shifting away from disposable merchandise and moving toward true cultural artifacts for the wrestling purist.
